Crisis Support

People with mental health difficulties are expected to experience times of distress at some stage in their recovery journey. At these times, it is not uncommon for patients and their family to need additional support.

Peace of Mind Psychiatry is a part-time practice, open Monday to Thursday. Crisis support outside of an appointment is therefore limited.

Collaborative Care

Our Psychiatrist’s work closely with referring GP’s, Psychologists, and other medical specialists such as rehabilitation and allied health practitioners.

Sometimes patients need support from crisis services or an inpatient admission to a private or public hospital. Dr Burchgart and Dr Dall work collaboratively with both local public and private hospitals during periods of illness when a patient is needing additional support. This is necessary to maintain patient safety and to ensure continuity of care.
